11. DO NOT operate the Dehydrator

outdoors or near any ammable or

combustible materials.

12. USE IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA.

It is suggested to use the Dehydrator in a

garage or similar structure.

13. To prevent electric shock, DO NOT

IMMERSE IN WATER OR LIQUID. Serious

injury and electric shock could result. DO

NOT use the machine with wet hands or bare

feet. DO NOT operate near running water.

14. NEVER open or remove the back panel

on the base of the Dehydrator.

15. Disconnect from power source before

cleaning the components of this machine.

READ ALL DIRECTIONS on how to clean

this Dehydrator before attempting to clean it.

After cleaning, make sure Dehydrator is

completely dry before reconnecting to the

power source -if not; ELECTRIC SHOCK

may result.

16. DO NOT operate the Dehydrator on

a hot stove-top or inside an oven. DO NOT

allow the power cord to drape over the

Dehydrator or hot surfaces.

17. DO NOT run the Dehydrator for more

than 24 hours at a time.

18. BEWARE! Some surfaces of the

Dehydrator may become very HOT during

use! Serious injury may result!

19. Edges may be sharp! Use caution when

handling!

20. DO NOT use while under inuence of

drugs or alcohol.

21. Household use only.

1. DO NOT block the air vents at the rear

of the Dehydrator. Keep the Dehydrator at

least 12” (30.5 cm) away from any wall to

allow for proper air circulation.

2. DO NOT operate the Dehydrator on or

near ammable surfaces such as carpeting.

3. It is IMPORTANT to monitor the

Dehydrator while in use. NEVER leave

the Dehydrator unattended.

4. CHECK FOR DAMAGED PARTS. Before

using the Dehydrator, check that all parts are

operating properly and perform the intended

functions. Check for binding of moving parts,

mounting and any other conditions that may

affect the operation. Do not use if power cord is

damaged or frayed.

5. ALWAYS DISCONNECT the Dehydrator

from the power source before servicing,

changing accessories or cleaning the unit.

Unplug the Dehydrator when not in use.

6. KEEP CHILDREN AWAY. NEVER

LEAVE THE APPLIANCE UNATTENDED.

The Dehydrator is NOT A TOY.

7. The Manufacturer declines any

responsibility in the case of improper use of the

Dehydrator. Improper use of the Dehydrator

will VOID the warranty.

8. Electrical repair must be done by an

authorized dealer. Use only factory original

parts and accessories. Modication of the

Dehydrator will VOID the warranty.

9. DO NOT pull the power cord to unplug. The

use of extension cords is not recommended.

10. Be sure the Dehydrator is stable during

use. All four feet should be secure on a level

surface. The Dehydrator should not move

during operation.

SOLUTION AUX PROBLÈMES

PROBLÈME: Humidité dans le conteneur de stockage.

ORIGINE: Séchage incomplet.

Les aliments ne sont pas coupés uniformément, ce qui entraîne

un séchage incomplet ou peu homogène.

Les aliments séchant à une température ambiante trop

longtemps après le refroidissement laissent l’humidité pénétrer

les aliments.

PRÉVENTION: Tester plusieurs parties de l’aliment pour garantir qu’il est

correctement desséché avant de le retirer du Déshydrateur.

Couper les aliments de manière uniforme.

Faire refroidir rapidement et emballer immédiatement dans un

conteneur hermétique.

PROBLÈME: Présence de moisissure sur les aliments déshydratés.

ORIGINE: Séchage incomplet.

La teneur en humidité n’a pas été vériée pendant une semaine.

Le conteneur de stockage n’est pas hermétique.

La température du stockage est trop élevée.

Le boîtier peut durcir ce qui signie que la température de

déshydratation des aliments est trop élevée et que les aliments

ont été déshydratés uniquement sur l’extérieur et non à

l’intérieur.

PRÉVENTION: Tester plusieurs parties de l’aliment pour garantir qu’il est

correctement desséché avant de le retirer du Déshydrateur.

PROBLÈME: Taches noires sur les légumes.

ORIGINE: Les aliments sont excessivement déshydratés.

PRÉVENTION: Inspecter fréquemment les produits alimentaires pour déterminer

leur degré de déshydratation. Retirer une fois

PROBLÈME: Les aliments collent aux Plateaux.

CAUSE: Les aliments ne sont pas retournés pendant le processus de

déshydratation.

PRÉVENTION: Après une heure de déshydratation, utiliser une spatule et

retourner les aliments. Retourner fréquemment les aliments

jusqu’à ce qu’ils ne collent plus.
